Farm Direct was founded in 1994 with the goal of providing beautifully fresh Roses delivered direct to Retailers and Event Planners.
We have successfully adapted to the ever-changing floral market needs by offering a wide variety of customized packs, ensuring our Clients always get exactly what they need on time!

OUR JOURNEY
1997
Our Beginning
Our main objective, as Farm Direct, was to change the logistics of flower delivery to the florists by changing the trajectory time to more or less 4 days.
At that time there were about 50,000 florists in the US. Some people say that there were more than 70,000 but nobody knows for sure.
2006
Our Breakthrough
By 2006, we decided to pivot our strategy and focus on serving retailers that handled the mass market.
We also recognized that it was essential to be part of a farm and eliminate intermediaries, so we ended up having alliances with one of the best farms in Ecuador.
2016
Our Achievements!
In 2016, we partnered with a great farm. By partnering, we were able to serve our customers with the freshest product, direct from the source, and maintain a level of growth well above the average.
Reaching to locate ourselves among the main suppliers of Ecuadorian flowers.
2000
Challenges
Starting in the year 2000 we faced a lot of challenges.
- The decline of orders at an accelerated level
- A reduction in florists and a reduction in our flower quality because of broken cold chain defiances we had with our cargo agencies
- Delivery costs were too high to compete with traditional systems
- In some cases, over the summer, the flower simply arrived cooked, and in the winter, frozen
2014
Afterwards
In 2014 we made certain key decisions in order to grow.
Even though it was a risk that we had to accept for the success of the company, we began to serve wholesalers directly.
